Old Main Hill Family Pictures | The Whittle Family
There’s something timeless and special about taking Old Main Hill family pictures, and the Whittle family brought so much warmth and joy to their session.
I met the Whittles on a golden evening up at the iconic Old Main Hill on Utah State University’s campus in Logan, Utah. This spot is beloved for its sweeping valley views, historic buildings, and tree-lined paths—and it was the perfect location for this family to make a few more memories together.
A Session Full of Joy (and a Bittersweet Goodbye)
This shoot was extra meaningful: their oldest son is heading out on a mission soon, so they wanted updated family pictures before he leaves. You could feel how much love this family has for one another. There was laughter, teasing, and a few tender moments that made me so grateful to capture this stage in their journey.
Military Roots and USU Ties
The Whittles have called Cache Valley home for several years now after relocating here following military service. Their dad currently works at Utah State University, which made shooting on Old Main Hill especially meaningful for them. From the university steps to quiet paths tucked away behind the historic buildings, we explored several beautiful spots around the hilltop.
Why Old Main Hill is Perfect for Family Photos
If you’re considering a session in Logan, Old Main Hill family pictures offer both scenic beauty and sentimental value. The blend of mountains, history, and campus charm makes it a top pick for many local families.
I’m so glad I got to meet the Whittle family and document this sweet season for them. Wishing them all the best as they prepare for big changes ahead!
